A 1950s Vintage Glinda

This very special vintage dress is a 1950s tulle party dress—and the bubble pattern on the tulle could not be more perfect for a Glinda look.

Ever since I spotted the photos from the second Wicked film of Glinda in a light blue-lavender version of her gown, I wondered if there was a twin 1950s dress out there to mirror the two Glindas.

I found this blue one with a kind of blush layer underneath the light blue lace, and I added a layer of lavender tulle under there as well. More photos and dress details on the two Glindas (and that wand!) on Frim Fram Frocks’ Substack.
