A 1960s Vintage Tin Man

When I thought about the Tin Man rendered in a vintage look, the very first thing in my mind was a 1960s metallic brocade shift dress. This one bears the marks of being hand-stitched inside, and that checkerboard brocade is so blindingly metallic that nothing could be more aluminum than this! I’ve had these old J Crew brogues for about a decade, but my favorite “wink and nod” detail is the heart earrings.
